Don’t Know Where to Eat in San Diego? Try Restaurant Week!

San Diego is an up-and-coming food Mecca. While still behind larger metropolitan areas such as New York and Chicago, America’s Finest City boasts the best tacos and the best donuts in the nation, and is home to world-class chefs. But locals know that the culinary scene truly shines twice a year: during San Diego Restaurant Week.  That time is finally here.

For eight days, select eateries celebrate the fresh produce, local seafood and innovative craft beer pairings that have come to define our region with special prix-fixed menus. Two-course lunches ($10-20 per person) and three-course dinners ($20-50 per person) lets you select the dining experience within your budget.

This September, over 180 participating restaurants eagerly take part in the gustatory legacy. So if there’s a place you’ve been dying to try, now is the time. New to town or just visiting? Lucky you; you won’t want to miss out on this opportunity. Make sure to check the San Diego Restaurant Week website for an updated list of venues and menus.

Frequenters of the Crawl may see some recognizable names on this year’s list. Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chao (en route to OMNIA) and The Melting Pot (en route to Bassmnt) are both offering RW menus, as are Crawl venuesAnalog and FlorentCome for the food; stay for the clubs. We at Club Crawl San Diego promise we’ll take good care of you.

Good bye 2013, Welcome 2014!

What a great year 2013 was. We started the year only running Club Crawls on Saturday nights. Those slowly grew in demand and we quickly added Fridays to our weekly line up. It was only a year ago that we were excited to take a group of 30 to 40 people to some of the best clubs in San Diego. Now our group sizes regularly hit 75 to 100 + each event and we hope to continue to grow that.
2013 started with our groups partying at Onyx, Analog, Fsix, Block 16, Stingaree and saw us also add Hard Rock Float and 207, Fluxx, and Bassmnt. We continue to start our nights at Quality Social 10 pm every Friday and Saturday for great drink specials and great music.

Their is plenty to look forward to in 2014. Voyeur closed, Block 16 closed but rumor has it some amazing new clubs will be opening soon. The old On Broadway has been remodeled and will open as AD in the summer. Avalon club in Hollywood has been said to have made a venue purchase in the Gas Lamp and will be debuting a new club soon.

We will continue to take our groups to the biggest and best clubs in the Gas Lamp. Don’t know where to go out in SD? Come with us for a night and check out up to four different venues, make friends with a door man and return any time you want : )

Looking forward to a great 2014!

Holiday Special Event Club Crawls

At Nasstive Entertainment we are always looking for another reason to organize a Club Crawl. If it is a public holiday with no school or work the next day, then their is a good chance we are running an event that night. Past holiday special event Club Crawls have included the St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl Labor Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, Halloween Club Crawls, Halloween Prom, New Years Eve and more. Check our website often for our next special event date.

Annual Special Event Parties

As a thank you to all of our past club crawlers, we organize a massive free Club Crawl anniversary party each year. We take over an entire club and invite back any one who has ever done a Club Crawl with us to celebrate our anniversary. Party with your fellow club crawlers, our hosts and the many groups we have worked with – Contiki tours, Meetup, Couchsurfing, Yelp, USA Hostels and more. It is a free event and fills up quickly. Keep an eye on our website in May to enter you and friends names on our Club Crawl San Diego anniversary party guest list.
